Every time winter comes around, I’m a little unprepared. Either my basics from last season are missing (I mean, really, how does that happen?) or I realize I’m late replacing a number of things that no longer fit or are too old, like that fleece I’ve been wearing since high school.
If you’re having similar issues and need things quickly, I recently moved clothes from Amazon to stock up on some new and old favorites, and I loved most of them. A lot of the items I got are basics like blouses, layer pieces and lounge sets, but I was very impressed with the quality and comfort of it all. I’ve had very few returns thanks to Amazon Prime’s “try before you buy” feature, which lets you try an item for free for up to seven days. If you like it and don’t return it within that time frame, you will be charged for the amount, and if you don’t like it, you can return it for free.
Here are 10 things I’ve been wearing nonstop from Amazon’s winter clothing collection:
- Hanes EcoSmart Sweatshirt, $11 (originally $22)
- Amazon Essentials High Cut Cotton Bikini Bottoms, 6-Pack, $14
- Mangopop Scoop Neck Stretch Long Sleeve Bodysuit, $18 (originally $25)
- Ewedoos Fleece Lined Leggings With Pockets, $30 (originally $40)
- The Drop Catalina Sweater Bralette, $30
- Merokeety Henley Knit Lounge Set, $32, with coupon (originally $46)
- The Drop Dina Fleece Elastic Hem Sweatpant, $45
- Goodthreads Shaker Stitch Oversized Cardigan, $45
- Ugg Faux Shearling Earmuff, $65
- Ugg Classic Ultra Mini Boot, $140
Hanes EcoSmart Sweatshirt
I have to admit I got this Hanes shirt and I guess I won’t like it. It’s the site’s bestselling sweatshirt with over 83,000 five-star reviews, and it costs just $11, so it looked too good to be true. But all those shoppers didn’t mislead me – I really love it. My favorite thing is that it’s warm without being overbearing, unlike a lot of other sweaters that I end up sweating in despite the freezing temperatures outside. It’s also surprisingly elegant, and looks really cool tucked in and accessorized with a few necklaces.
Ewedoos fleece-lined leggings with pockets
Ewedoos fleece lined leggings are my favorite winter pants. I bought a couple last year and literally lived in them (seriously, I don’t think I’ve ever worn a pair of jeans). Unfortunately, I find that they run a small thing, and after accidentally putting them in the dryer, they are not comfortable anymore. So I got a new couple a size larger, and I couldn’t be happier. Also, it’s on sale now, so it’s time to add it to your cart.
Catalina Drop Bralette Jacket
This was a spontaneous purchase during Black Friday, and I’m so glad I got it. I really wanted a tank top, and this one from The Drop is super cute. It’s really comfortable and flattering, but it’s not much of a “bra” so if I wore it, I was wearing an actual bra or bra underneath. I’ve also got a matching ribbed pair of pants to make a set, and I’ve been walking around the house in #feelinmyself.
Mangopop Long Sleeve Scoop Neck Stretch Jumpsuit
Don’t sleep in this suit. Thousands of Amazon shoppers swear by Mangopop’s vast selection of lingerie, and everything they say is true: They look cute, cute enough to wear to the office, and are of high quality. This long-sleeved V-neck option relaxes me when I wear it as a base layer, and if I’m feeling warm and need to shed some layers, it’s cute enough on its own. I will definitely stock up on more. If you’re between sizes, I suggest sizing up for a more comfortable fit.
Ugg faux shearling earmuffs
I don’t want to be dramatic, but I literally can’t be outside in the winter without earmuffs. I don’t wear hats because I often cut my hair, and find that most of them slip regardless, so I’ve been loyal to ear muffs since I was in my teens. I usually wear those fluffy, obnoxious clothes, but I wanted a change this year, so I opted for the more stylish Ugg earmuffs. They are honestly cool and have a really good fit.
Merokeety Henley Knit Lounge Collection
I was originally gifted with this lounge set, but loved it so much I bought another one; It’s safe to say that the Merokeety henley knit collection is the official WFH uniform of the season. It’s *so comfortable and cute, I actually wore the top as part of my outfit once because I was so warm that I didn’t bother taking it off. It comes in a lot of attractive colors and is great too.

Dina Drops Fleece Elasticated Hem Sweatpants
If you need a warm, modern pair of sweats, look no further than these tie-dye options from The Drop. Before I had these, I had been wearing the fleece shorts version for months and adored them so much that I knew I had to get my sweatpants too. They are really great if you just want to be comfy when you have guests, and I totally recommend getting a matching sweatshirt to make it a set. They’re true to size, but if you want the modern, oversized look that J.Lo agrees, go up the volume.
High-rise cotton bikini bottoms from Amazon Essentials
Well, this wasn’t necessarily a seasonal buy, but I had to throw Amazon Essentials high-cut underwear into the cart because so many people love it. This bundle alone has 20,000 five-star reviews, while the regular slash version has another whopping 70,000. I’ll definitely be wearing it all winter long (and am stocking up on more); It’s full coverage and fits perfectly, and it’s really super comfortable. If you need a lingerie drawer repair, this is a great place to start.
Large GoodThreads Shaker Stitch Cardigan
I like to call this ‘Grandma’s Cardigan’. This is my second Goodthreads Shaker Stitch Cardigan because I wore my first jacket basically every day during the stay-at-home part of the pandemic. I keep this as my house sweater, and got this new one with the intention of wearing it. It is so warm and feels like you are wrapped in your favorite blanket.
Ogg Classic Ultra Mini
I did – I finally bought myself my first pair of Ugg shoes, and I never look back. I’m in love with these little Ugg boots, and not just because the models make them look good. They’re versatile and work faithfully with any outfit – whether you choose leggings and a sweatshirt or boyfriend jeans and a button-down. They will really warm your toes within seconds of wearing them, and I love that I can use them as both an indoor and outdoor shoe. Totally worth the investment.
